Sandy Swisher is a Family Nurse Practitioner with IHCWV. She was raised in the Cisco community of Ritchie County and graduated from Harrisville High School. She then obtained her Bachelor's degree in nursing in 1988 and her Master’s Degree in Nursing in 1995. Her clinical interests include helping patients with diabetes through her certification as a Diabetes Educator.

Sandy resides in Wood County with her husband, Greg Marshall. She enjoys spending time with her family watching WVU and high school sports. Sandy can also spend time by the water with a good book and family. In her leisure time, she travels to NC to see her daughter and son-in-law, Erin and Ed, and her grandchildren, Lincoln and Ivy. Her stepson, Chase, and his wife, Megan, reside in Vienna.

She joined IHCWV 18 years ago and primarily worked in the Jefferson Campus in Parkersburg. She is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Medical Officer.
