Lucas Henger is a board-certified physician assistant who has practiced medicine as a PA for over a decade and a half.

Ritchie County native, Lucas, returned home to join the IHCWV team in 2022 after practicing emergency medicine for 15 years in and around Huntington, WV. He graduated from Ritchie County High School in 2001. At RCHS, he was a member of the track, football, and quiz bowl teams. His wife, Patti, is from Charlottesville, VA, and his two daughters are students at Ritchie County Middle and High Schools, who participate in a variety of extracurricular activities.

Lucas is currently accepting new patients at the health center located within Ritchie County Middle School/High School, providing acute and chronic care services to individuals of all ages. He has a special interest in sports medicine and has assisted the school training staff in the care of a variety of RCMS and RCHS student athletes. He has served as a coach for the school track and cross country teams.
