Jasen R. Nichols is a WV licensed psychologist with IHCWV. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Rio Grande in 2001. Later, he furthered his education by receiving a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Marshall University Graduate College in 2005.  

Jasen started his professional career working as a psychologist at a level III residential treatment facility for troubled youth ages 12 to 18. During that time, he also worked in private practice, providing outpatient evaluation and treatment services for children, adolescents, and adults. Jasen then broadened his horizons and began providing evaluation and treatment services at an integrated, primary care Federally Qualified Health Center, where he remained for almost five years. He joined Integrated Health Centers of West Virginia as the behavioral health director in late 2021. Jasen serves clients ages 7 and above at the health center in Ritchie County Middle/High School, where he offers individual and family therapy services.

In his spare time, Jasen enjoys being with family, engaged in outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and kayaking. He is also an avid animal lover who fostered and adopted a four-year-old Beagle named Cooper.
