After graduating from Marshall University with his Bachelor of Arts in Adult Fitness and obtaining his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Marietta College, Lucas Henger is a board-certified physician assistant with over a decade and a half of experience in emergency and urgent care, practicing in and around Huntington, WV.
Ritchie County native, Lucas, is coming home to join the Ritchie Regional Health Center team. He graduated from Ritchie County High School in 2001. At RCHS, he was a member of the track, football, and quiz bowl teams. His wife, Patti, is from Blacksburg, VA, and the couple are excited to bring their two daughters back to Ritchie County to be brought up in the same community that raised Lucas. “We are thrilled to be able to be so close to family and reconnect with friends. I feel very fortunate to be able to care for members of my hometown that cared for me during my formative years. I hope my family finally gets to see why, even after being away so long, I never stopped calling Ritchie County home.” Lucas is currently accepting new patients at RRHC Ritchie County Middle School/High School Wellness Center, providing acute and chronic care services to individuals of all ages.
