Every October 6 - October 12 is National Physician Assistant Week. This week is a time to celebrate PAs everywhere and thank them for their valiant efforts!
Too few people realize just how essential physician assistants are. PAs are medical professionals with thousands of hours of training. Their skills enable them to diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications, and perform many other medical tasks. PAs have a strong background in general medicine and support other medical professionals to provide a deeper level of patient care. Ritchie Regional is fortunate enough to employ one such crucial PA, Danielle Potts. Danielle has been RRHC for a little over a year and provides primary care services at the St. Marys High School Wellness Center, located near the front entrance of St. Marys High School. She is currently accepting new patients and welcomes Pleasants County students, faculty, and the community at large. To make an appointment with Danielle, call 855-552-8907 or text 304-643-4005. Returning patients with acute care needs (sinuses, allergies, pink eye, etc.) may use RRHC’s online self-scheduler. Happy National Physician Assistant Week, Danielle! Thank you so much for your service! #PAweek #rrhcsbhc
