National Radiologic Technology Week

National Radiologic Technology Week (NRTW) is meant to celebrate the vital work of medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals in patient care and healthcare safety. The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) NRTW theme this year is "Aiming to Heal." The week-long celebration -- running from November 6 to 12 -- takes place during the week of November 8 to commemorate the discovery of the x-ray by Wilhelm Roentgen on November 8, 1895. 

During this week, RRHC would like to take the opportunity to recognize our radiologic technologist, Jill Williams, and the essential service she provides. For the past 18 years, Jill has taken hundreds of x-rays at RRHC Harrisville Campus. With the recent equipment upgrade, she can do so with less radiation and clearer imaging.
