Ritchie Regional Health Center wanted to ensure patients who are enrolled in Medicare, receive a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) notice informing them that our practice is a part of an Accountable Care Organization (ACO).
An ACO is a group of doctors, hospitals, and other health care providers who work together to improve the quality and experience of our patients health care needs. Please know there is no change in health benefits. We want to be sure patients understand the notice and do not have any questions or concerns. Medicare protects the privacy of health information. If you receive Medicare and don’t want Medicare to share information with your health care providers for care coordination, call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227) to opt out of data sharing. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the notice, please contact the Ritchie Regional Health Center Chief Quality Officer, Wendy Cutright, at (304) 643-4005, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Thank you for choosing Ritchie Regional Health Center to be a part of your healthcare journey. Your trust in us means the world.
